Meet a Sister

Sister Elaine Davia
This was a holy moment.

Sister Elaine shares a very special moment in her daily life prompted by the arrival of a unique visitor!

My Life

It is always great to have sisters join me at a special conferences for our ministries. Although we are kept busy we also get to enjoy some fun time together touring the local areas on our breaks. We look pretty relaxed in this picture!
Music is a part of my life. I play the French horn for the Westminster Community Band. We travel around the local area, playing for special events and holding our own concerts. I’ve made some great friends along the way and it’s a nice, casual way to interact with the local community.
Here’s part of my garden. Planning it and anticipating the outcome are my favorite parts. The best time to garden is in the quiet of the early morning. Of course, it’s great to see the veggies and flowers that sprout as a result of the labor too!
I am so blessed to be a part of a large family. Here I am with the youngest of my relatives! Also, my sister, brother-in-law and nephew live near me, so I visit with them regularly.
Getting together with our international sisters is a special time, either when they visit here in the USA or when I’m able to travel to see them. I especially love speaking Spanish with our Peruvian sisters. I can’t wait for the next reunion with them!
Exercising is fun - particularly biking and hiking, especially in the woods or in the mountains! And, when I have the opportunity, I love swimming.
